Over 10 years of superb service. Have bought a house in Cala d’Or in 2014, little did we know how much work it would need. Steevi and his team have been constant providers of quick, efficient and excellent service. Boilers, taps, electrics, kitchen refurbs, you name it. We owe our holiday home enjoyment partly to Steevi! Whether it’s locks broken or air conditioning packing up, the British Contractor has stepped in and rescued us.

Steevi and his team have saved our bacon once again. As British owners in Cala D'Or, we have called on Steevi Ware many times over the years. He and his team have been brilliant - they always turn up on time, do the job well and are so kind and helpful. We've had repairs to our water pipes, installation of a washing machine, new taps and shower fittings and electrical work done over the years.
This time we had a panic that we had a water leak. Steevi went out within an hour of us contacting them. He was able to check the water meter and sent us a picture to put our minds at rest. He and the team really are excellent. I can't recommend them highly enough.

We’ve used Steevi for many years on our holiday apartment in Cala D’or and more recently on the cafe we part own on the marina, the service has always been and continues to be excellent; his work is carried out in an orderly and timely manner and as we are often in the UK when works are carried out we get regular updates and photos showing the progress. Over the years Steevi has done our bathrooms, kitchen, changed the aircon and boilers and is always there if we need help with smaller jobs too …..we will always use The British Contractor and have no hesitation recommending both Steevi and his business

We had a big problem with the pipes in our house. It was an emergency and we were taken care of very quickly. The customer was actively approached and looked after very warmly. We are very impressed with how the Steevi team works together . All appointments were kept on time. Always friendly and reliable. Time is taken to explain everything to the customer. Since buying our apartment in Cala d'Or 14 years ago, we have used the services of Steevi Ware and his team on many occasions. They have carried out both minor and major maintenance tasks for us, as well as complete supply and installation of new aircon system, new bathroom and water heater.
The friendly and reliable service has been a godsend to us at all times (me not being a DIY expert myself!).
We couldn't have managed without their help in our holiday home from home.

Can’t thank Steevi and his team enough over the past few years. I was apprehensive using a builder in Mallorca as I had heard bad reports. Extremely happy with all the works we have had completed by the British Contractor from full room and bathroom refurbs to patio replacement and roof works -Steevi and the whole team are informative and efficient, all works are completed to an extremely high standard with detailed updates throughout. Can’t praise Steevi Ware and his team at the British Contractor enough for their help and fast response recently when in the space of 3 days, I had one problem after another at our villa having hardly been used over last few years. The problems ranged from burst hot water pipes in the wall of shower early evening, sewer coming up through shower during day, burst pipe on pool shower, repair to kitchen electric sockets, electric blew when temperature was at 39 degrees and finally water pump stopped working and washing machine broke down. All was dealt with fast and efficiently by his trustworthy team.

The 24 hour emergency service is invaluable and the staff are always polite and very helpful, their work ethic exemplary and all workmanship is good and they keep me informed with pictures of the work as it progresses.

Have used Steevi for a lot of years now and seen him grow into the company he is now.
Would definitely not hesitate in recommending him for any work you need doing.
All our repairs have now been done without any mess or fuss, which hopefully will enable our family to enjoy our villa for the rest of the year without problems.

Having been in construction all my life I can honestly say that the British Contractor (BC) company is easily one of the best all-round construction services I have ever used. I have used there services now for 6 years and have never had any issues. They have over time completed:
New kitchen, 2 complete bathroom upgrades, all my windows including sliding doors, complete outside & inside painting, new driveway, new heating & boiler system, New alarm system, CCTV system, major roof repairs ….. The list goes on…….
Some of these jobs were completed during covid when we couldn’t travel…!!!
BC also offer many other services and can tailor any requirements you might have including a winter once month inspection of your property ensuring all is ok…. Fantastic “peace-of-mind” …
A brilliant company …. It’s a 10 out of 10 from me…!!!!!

Steevi recently renovated our bathroom in Cala Egos.
We found Steevi and his team excellent from the first contact we had with them, through to the bathroom being finished. Steevi provided advice and guidance throughout the renovation and provided us with regular updates regarding progress. Despite us being in the UK the whole time, any questions or queries we had were answered promptly and in full, which gave us great confidence. Steve Ware and ‘The British Contractor’ have completely refurbished our bathrooms and kitchen in Cala d’Or, as well as a myriad of other jobs - new water heater, fitting ceiling fans, repairing the fuse box, and various general maintenance issues. On every occasion work has been completed to excellent standards, to agreed timescales, and when we’ve been in the UK we get regular photographic updates. Whenever we have a ‘crisis’ -eg the leaking water heater - Steevi responds the same or at least the next day wherever possible. His team are very professional and always leave the premises clean and tidy.
